9 Fall Outfit Ideas With a Plaid Shirt

October is the best month of the fall season in my opinion!  Football, Cider Mills, Pumpkin carving, Halloween!  It's always a fun month.  I feel like there is no better wardrobe staple to have in October than a plaid shirt.  It's even better if you can find a plaid shirt that goes with everything in your wardrobe!

What I Wore Then vs. What I Wore Now

A few weeks ago I was scrolling through Instagram and saw a post from one of my favorite style bloggers Merrick's Art.  (If you are not following this blog you need to!! She shares the best style tips!!) She has a series on Instagram where she takes outfits that she wore in the past and updates them to how she would style them now.  This post gave me an amazing idea for a blog post series.  I want to take some of the outfits that I shared in my early days of blogging and show you how I would style that same look now with updated pieces in my wardrobe.

Mini Fall Weekend Wardrobe Capsule- 10 Pieces, 10 Outfits

I wanted to do a wardrobe capsule this fall, but the time just slipped away from me.  That's why instead of doing a full fall wardrobe capsule, I decided to break it down and just focus on a casual weekend wardrobe full of some of my favorite staples that are in my closet this fall.  Hopefully, it will give you a few outfit ideas and you may even find a few new wardrobe pieces to add to your closet this fall.
Real-Life Mom Outfit of the day round up for September
Can you believe that September is over already?  Where is this year going?  One goal of mine as we move forward to the end of the year is to get back into my monthly "outfit of the day" round-up posts.  I started doing more this summer, but I'd like to stay consistent and share them at the end of every month like I use to.

Old Navy Fall Try-On Haul 2021

I don't know about you, but I always feel like Old Navy is at its best in the fall!  I love to see all the new trends and styles this time of the year.  I also get excited when they bring back some of my favorite staples.  Last year I did a fall Old Navy try-on post (Post HERE) and so this year I thought it would be fun to do it again!

6 Cute and Comfy Work From Home Outfits

I have recently had some requests to share some work-from-home outfits.  Many people were working from home before the pandemic happened, but now there are more people than ever who are still working from home.  I know that just within my own family, most of them are working remotely from home.  I feel like there are both pros and cons to working from home.  The pros for me would be that there is no commute, you are in the comfort of your own home and you get to create your own schedule.  The biggest cons for me would be staying focused and motivated all day.

We Are Moving...Again!

in , , by Katie Margaret, September 21, 2021

Yes, it's true, we are moving... again.  I feel like I just wrote a moving announcement post, but I guess that was over 2 years ago.  2 years seems to be the average amount of time that we stay in one place, so I guess it makes sense that we are packing up and moving again.  This time we aren't going too far.  We are heading back to the East side of Michigan to be closer to our family.
How to Style Dressy Joggers

I am a huge fan of joggers, but one thing I struggle with joggers is that I don't always feel very put together when I wear them.  They are always comfy and always my go-to at home, but when I leave the house change into jeans or leggings. (If you want to see some put together looks with joggers check out my post HERE!)

Affordable end of summer outfit round up

It's Labor Day, which means summer is now coming to an end.  I always feel like this time of the year is bittersweet.  I love fall and I am excited about cooler weather and getting back into a routine, but I also hate to see the summer go.  I know that the cold weather and winter are right around the corner so it's best to enjoy all the warm days while you can.

How to Wear a Statement Blouse
You may have noticed that the blog has been a little quiet over the last couple of weeks.  That is because life has been a little crazy over here lately.  I had no idea that the end of the summer would be such a busy/stressful time of year for a mom.  Preparing Jack for kindergarten and trying to cram in all the last-minute summer activities has been a lot.  That's why I needed to not worry about blog content and just focus on other things.
